Beaghmore, meaning Bheitheach Mhór in Irish, was a "big place of birch trees", was once a dense woodland before being cleared by Neolithic farmers. Beaghmore Stone Circles are at home here within the peatlands and foot of the Sperrin mountains of Co.Tyrone. The stone circles and land feels like a secret whispered by the earth. Grianán of Aileach, known locally as Greenan Fort, is a hillfort, high on Greenan Mountain at Burt on the Inishowen Peninsula in Co. Donegal. Standing high above the northern landscape, Grianán of Aileach offers a sweeping perspective that feels both protective and illuminating. Its name is linked to ghrian, the sun, and the site has long been associated with light, clarity, power and ancestral guardianship and why some call it the sun palace. Though its visible structure dates to the Iron Age, the spiritual lineage of this hill reaches far deeper, into mythic time and the stories of the Tuatha Dé Danann.

Slieve Gullion is a mountain, that lies in the heart of the Ring of Guillion, in the south of Co.Armagh. It is an ancient volcanic mountain and one of Ireland’s most powerful mythic landscapes. At its summit lies a Neolithic passage tomb dating back over 4,000 years, aligned with the cycles of the sun and the land. Here is home to the highest passage tomb/cairn in Ireland, known as “Cailliagh Berra’s House”, the Cailleach’s house.

This mountain revered as a place of initiation, vision, and transformation, where the veil between worlds was believed to thin. The mountain carries a fierce feminine intelligence that does not bestow power lightly, it awakens it from within. Emain Macha, was named in honour of the Goddess Macha, she is known as Queen Macha. The site carries her spirit and the fierce grace of the sovereign feminine. The name comes from mythology and stories carried down the generations. The hill was named after her and her twins by the King of Ulster when he realised her power and sovereignty to the land. The stories explore and hold the memories of the ancestors that have had such an incredible bearing on how we have lived on the land and beyond today.

Emain Macha is one of the great spiritual hearts of ancient Ireland and ceremonial centres. Long before written history, this land held rites of initiation, seasonal gatherings and profound acts of ritual transformation.
